Design and construction
The shell is Invista 1000D Cordura with PU coating applied twice for superior water resistance. The front cap is thermoformed into a semi-hard case that protects contents and gives the bag its distinctive silhouette. The back panel is thermo-moulded with a logo and air-circulation array. All zippers are YKK with silent paracord pullers that work with gloves and avoid audible giveaways in the field.
The shoulder strap carries 3-D airmesh padding and a stabilizer strap that clips to either the right or left lower corner, automatically realigning the padded section in an ergonomic, body-hugging direction. The bag rotates to the chest for on-the-go access; every pocket faces the user in chest-carry mode whether worn left or right. A single-strap carry geometry also makes shouldering a long gun comfortable, unlike a two-strap backpack design.
Compartments and organization
The main compartment measures 19.75" x 7.8" x 6.1" and opens via a top-panel zipper accessible while the bag sits on the chest. Internal mesh zip and elastic pockets organize smaller items inside. The bag accepts a hydration bladder up to 2 liters (67 oz.) with bladder interference fit up to 2.5 liters of a 3-liter bladder, and routes the hose through a trap-door pass with a large bite-valve cover.
Two large side pockets each measure 9.25" x 5.1" x 3" and accommodate up to a 1-liter Nalgene bottle, with flat outer pockets on each side for paddle holsters or rifle magazines. An additional flat front pocket provides a third external access zone. One large pocket on the front face is optimized for chest-carry access and includes a built-in organizer. Top and bottom compression straps cinch the load and can also secure tubular items.
The front MOLLE cutout field measures approximately 5.5" x 5.5" and accepts hook-backed accessories directly through die-cut apertures in the fuzzy loop patch. Full MOLLE webbing wraps around the exterior for attaching holsters, magazine pouches, and additional accessories.
Weapons accommodation
The large external and side flat pockets fit multiple rifle magazines. A fuzzy panel inside the hydration pocket accepts optional hook-backed holsters. The main compartment accommodates firearms up to an H&K G36C or MP5 with collapsing stock, as well as most full-size semi-automatic pistols. The roto-locking side-release buckle on the main closure operates with thick gloves.

What fits in the Rocket '17's side pockets?
Each of the two side pockets measures 9.25" x 5.1" x 3" — enough depth to hold up to a 1-liter Nalgene bottle with room for a flat outer pocket alongside it. They also accept paddle holsters and standard rifle magazines.
Is the Rocket '17 truly ambidextrous?
Yes. The stabilizer strap clips to either the right or left lower corner, and the padded section of the shoulder strap automatically realigns to the ergonomically correct angle for the chosen side. The bag can also be rotated to the chest, with all pocket faces oriented toward the user regardless of carry side.
What firearms fit inside?
The main compartment accommodates rifles up to an H&K G36C or MP5 with a collapsing stock, and most full-size semi-automatic pistols. Does it work as a hydration pack?
Yes. The main compartment accepts a hydration bladder up to 67 oz. / 2 L, and can physically fit a 3-liter bladder used up to 2.5 L capacity. A trap-door hose pass with a large bite-valve cover routes the drinking tube cleanly to the shoulder strap side.
How do I clean the Rocket '17?
Do not machine-wash or tumble-dry. Empty all pockets and shake out debris. Soak in lukewarm water with mild detergent for 10–15 minutes and agitate gently. Clean stubborn spots with a soft cloth; use a soft brush on zipper teeth. Rinse thoroughly, dry metal parts promptly, lubricate zippers, then invert and hang dry in shade — direct UV exposure can degrade the fabric and coating.
How is the Rocket '17 different from the original Rocket?
Three changes distinguish the '17 revision: a thermoformed semi-hard front case and cap, MOLLE cutouts through the larger front loop-patch field, and the new roto-locking side-release buckle that operates with thick gloves. The '17 also adds two large side pockets that fit a 1-liter Nalgene bottle, a flat front pocket, and greater overall volume at 31.6 liters.

Order Shipment:
Orders are shipped within five business days from the date of your order unless specified otherwise on the product page. The product page will contain the most accurate estimate on shipping and lead times. Shipping and lead times provided on the product page are our best estimates based various factors including order volume, information from our manufacturer, raw material fluctuations, etc., and may vary due to these factors.
You will receive an email containing the tracking information of your order after the order has been shipped to your location. If you do not receive tracking information from us within seven business days of the lead time specified on the product page, feel free to follow up with us at orders@bulletproofzone.com.
Bulletproof Zone is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. A tracking number will be provided when the package is shipped. It is the buyer’s responsibility to provide a safe place to receive mail. Once an item has been marked as delivered by the carrier, the seller is not responsible should that item go missing.
Some of our products are carried by manufacturers in various countries. Due to the nature and cost of the products that Bulletproof Zone sells, you may be charged additional import duties upon delivery. Our support team can help in investigating abnormally high import duty charges but we are unable to cover the cost of any import duties.
Damages:
We take full responsibility for any obvious damage to your product caused by wrong packaging or delivering an already defective product. Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage, you should document it when signing for delivery. If the item(s) contained in the package arrives damaged, please send photos to support@bulletproofzone.com, and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.
Returns and Cancellation Policy:
We back all our products with a customer satisfaction guarantee, so we created a fair return and cancellation policy.
All sales are final. No Refunds, No Cancellations. In most cases, once the order is processed, it is final and not cancellable. We may allow exceptions due to an order error or wish to return your order after delivery for any reason other than a product defect or misrepresentation. Any cancellation request is subject to an administration and cancellation fee equal to 10% of your order with a minimum of $35, whether order shipment is successful or not.
All sales are final on all closeout items and for custom manufactured bulletproof clothing once the manufacturing process has begun or not returnable unless there is a product defect or misrepresentation. Before returning any product, you MUST obtain a return authorization from our customer service representative. We can only process AUTHORIZED returns for items.
To make a Return or Exchange:

Return or exchanges request submission must be within 14 calendar days upon receipt of shipment unless noted otherwise on the product description page. Your return must be in original packaging and unused.
We encourage using USPS flat-rate shipping in returning products to receive a shipping expense refund. Buyers must ensure all returned parcels delivery receipt AND signature confirmation. We highly recommend insuring your parcel as we cannot issue a refund for an item that we do not receive back should it get lost/damaged during transit.
Refunds:
Should an item be returned because it was defective, misrepresented, not as described, etc., Bulletproof Zone will issue a full refund and will reimburse the customer for all shipping expenses associated with the return.
Please allow 5-10 business days from the time the item is received to process a refund. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order.
