vertx-siege-15l-sling-bag
Vertx Siege 15L Sling Bag

The Vertx Siege 15L Sling is a 1.95 lb ambidextrous sling bag built from 330D nylon for daily carry of gear, electronics, and personal essentials. Its main compartment includes a double-layer laptop/tablet sleeve with a hidden entry point that accommodates soft or rigid body armor panels, including the Premier Body Armor Vertx Siege 15L Sling Level IIIA Insert (sold separately). Available in Coyote, It's Black, and Wolf Grey.

Organized Access Under Pressure

The Siege 15L Sling carries two fully loop-lined EDC compartments that allow fast access to a firearm or hook-backed accessories without digging. YKK locking zippers on the main compartment and EDC slot add a layer of security when the bag is on your back or set down in a crowd. A customizable Rapid Access Half-Pull tab can be attached to any compatible zipper pocket, letting you configure the draw to match your workflow rather than adapting to the bag's defaults.

Expandable Capacity Where You Need It

The front pocket expands to stow a jacket, gym shoes, or bulkier essentials, then cinches down flat when you're traveling light. Behind it, a 500D MOLLE-faced expandable pocket provides a reinforced platform for heavier loads without sagging. A stretchable side pocket handles water bottles and items that don't fit a standard slot, while the bottom of the sling includes multiple attachment points for securing small bedrolls or similar gear.

Built for Left or Right Shoulder Carry

The ambidextrous design lets the Siege 15L Sling ride on either shoulder without modification, which matters when you need to shift the bag to access a compartment or transition between environments. Carabiner attachment points and a stretchy zipper pocket on the sling strap keep frequently reached items (keys, a multi-tool, a small light) within arm's reach without opening the main body. A top-access zipper compartment with soft tricot lining protects sunglasses or other scratch-sensitive items independently of the main compartment.

Features

330D nylon exterior: lightweight, water-resistant, and durable for daily use

Hidden armor entry point: base of laptop sleeve accepts soft or rigid body armor panels, including the Premier Body Armor Vertx Siege 15L Sling Level IIIA Insert (sold separately)

500D MOLLE-faced expandable pocket: reinforced for heavy loads without sagging

YKK locking zippers: on main compartment and EDC slot for added security

Ambidextrous design: configures for left or right shoulder carry

Rapid Access Half-Pull tab: customizable and compatible with any zipper pocket on the bag

Specifications

Specification

Detail

Brand

Vertx

Model

Siege 15L Sling

Weight

1.95 lb (all colorways)

Exterior material

330D nylon

MOLLE pocket material

500D

Carry orientation

Ambidextrous (left or right shoulder)

Armor compatibility

Soft or rigid panels via hidden entry point at base of laptop sleeve; compatible with Premier Body Armor Vertx Siege 15L Sling Level IIIA Insert (sold separately)

Available colors

Coyote, It's Black, Wolf Grey

Who This Is For and Isn't

The Vertx Siege 15L Sling suits everyday carriers, concealed-carry practitioners, and tactical users who want organized, fast-access storage in a single-strap format. Its laptop sleeve, EDC compartments, and optional armor panel compatibility make it a practical choice for commuters, range days, or low-profile duty use where a full backpack is too much.

The Siege 15L Sling does not include a body armor panel. Armor compatibility requires a separately purchased insert. The bag itself carries no ballistic rating and provides no protection on its own. It is not a substitute for a plate carrier or a vest and is not designed for situations requiring full torso coverage.

Common Questions

Does the Siege 15L Sling include a body armor panel?

The Vertx Siege 15L Sling does not include a body armor panel. The bag has a hidden entry point at the base of the laptop sleeve that accepts soft or rigid armor panels. The compatible insert, the Premier Body Armor Vertx Siege 15L Sling Level IIIA Insert, is sold separately and is not part of this listing.

Can the Siege 15L Sling be worn on either shoulder?

Yes. The Vertx Siege 15L Sling uses an ambidextrous design that supports left or right shoulder carry without any modification to the bag. This lets the wearer shift the sling to whichever side suits their carry preference or access needs in the moment.

What fits in the expandable front pocket?

The expandable front pocket on the Siege 15L Sling is sized to stow a jacket, gym shoes, or similar bulky essentials. When carrying less, the pocket cinches down to reduce the bag's profile. The 500D MOLLE-faced expandable pocket is a separate compartment designed to support heavier loads without sagging.

Are the zippers lockable?

The Vertx Siege 15L Sling uses YKK locking zippers on the main compartment and the EDC slot.
