tasmanian-tiger-chest-rig-mkii-tactical-harness
Tasmanian Tiger Chest Rig MKII Tactical Harness

The Tasmanian Tiger Chest Rig MKII is a lightweight universal harness built for operators who need modular load carriage without the bulk of a full plate carrier. Constructed from CORDURA 700 denier fabric and weighing 1.1 kg (39 oz), it accommodates four magazine pouches, two side utility pockets, and a fold-out pocket sized for armor plate inserts. The MKII is available in Olive, Coyote, Multicam, and Black.

Built to Carry What You Need

The Tasmanian Tiger Chest Rig MKII is designed around a fully adjustable fit system. Shoulder straps adjust from 30 to 39 inches (75–100 cm), and the interior waist range spans 32 to 59 inches (82–149 cm), making the MKII usable across a wide range of body sizes without requiring a separate sizing purchase. The waist belt adjusts from 6 to 32 inches (15–82 cm), letting wearers dial in a secure, stable fit under load.

Organized Storage for Immediate Access

Four integrated magazine pouches sit at the front for primary ammunition carriage. Two multi-purpose side pockets are sized to fit a standard US 1-liter water bottle, keeping hydration or secondary gear within reach without adding a separate pouch. Every pocket on the MKII closes with either a zipper or an adjustable hook-and-loop system, so closure method can be matched to mission tempo and noise discipline requirements.

MOLLE-Ready and Plate-Compatible

The full MOLLE webbing system across the MKII's exterior lets wearers attach additional pouches, tools, or accessories from any MOLLE-compatible source, including Tasmanian Tiger's own pouch line. A fold-out pocket at the front is sized to accept armor plate inserts, adding ballistic protection as a layer-on option rather than a fixed feature. Armor plates are not included and must be sourced separately.

Features

CORDURA 700 den construction: abrasion-resistant fabric throughout the harness body

Adjustable padded shoulder straps: 30–39 in (75–100 cm) range for a secure, comfortable fit

Four magazine pouches: integrated front pouches for primary ammunition carriage

Two side utility pockets: each sized to hold a standard US 1-liter water bottle

Fold-out armor plate pocket: accepts plate inserts (plates not included)

Full MOLLE webbing: compatible with MOLLE-standard pouches and accessories

Specifications

Specification

Value

Weight

39 oz / 1.1 kg

Material

CORDURA 700 denier

Shoulder strap adjustment

30–39 in / 75–100 cm

Interior waist range

32–59 in / 82–149 cm

Interior front/side area

26 in / 67 cm

Waist belt adjustment

6–32 in / 15–82 cm

Sizing

Unisex

Available colors

Olive, Coyote, Multicam, Black

Armor plates

Not included

Who This Is For and Isn't

The Tasmanian Tiger Chest Rig MKII suits law enforcement officers, military personnel, and serious recreational shooters who want a lightweight, adjustable load-carriage platform with integrated magazine storage and the option to add plate inserts.
