tasmanian-tiger-assault-pack-12-tactical-backpack
Tasmanian Tiger Assault Pack 12 Tactical Backpack

The Tasmanian Tiger Assault Pack 12 is a 12-liter low-profile day and mission pack built for operators who need a compact, modular load-out without sacrificing attachment options. Constructed from CORDURA 700-denier fabric and weighing 48 oz (1.3 kg), it carries a detachable padded back system, two main compartments, and hydration compatibility. It is available in Black, Olive, Coyote, and Multicam.

Built for Compact Mission Loads

At 12 liters and 15.5 x 10.5 x 3.75 inches, the Assault Pack 12 stays close to the body and out of the way during active movement. The two main compartments divide gear logically between mission-critical items and secondary kit, while the 700-denier CORDURA shell resists abrasion across rough terrain and repeated use cycles. A sturdy top handle gives a quick grab point when the pack needs to move fast.

Modular Inside and Out

Lasercut MOLLE on the exterior lets operators attach pouches, tools, or accessories without adding bulk from traditional webbing. Inside, MOLLE hook-and-loop provides additional mounting surface for internal organization. The Assault Pack 12 can be combined with the TT Chest Rig MKII or mounted directly to the MOLLE on a plate carrier, making it a flexible addition to a layered load-bearing system rather than a standalone piece.

Helmet and Plate Carrier Ready

A detachable front flap is sized to carry a helmet, freeing up main compartment space for other gear. Internal slots accommodate armor plates, so the pack can serve as a supplemental armor carrier when the mission calls for it. A hook-and-loop patch on the exterior accepts standard ID patches for quick visual identification in the field.

Features

CORDURA 700-denier shell: abrasion-resistant fabric construction throughout

Two main compartments: divided storage with hydration system compatibility

Lasercut MOLLE exterior: low-profile attachment points for pouches and accessories

Interior MOLLE hook-and-loop: flexible internal organization and mounting

Detachable front flap: designed to carry a helmet externally

Internal armor plate slots: accommodates armor plates when needed

Specifications

Specification

Value

Volume

12 L / 732 cu in

Weight

48 oz / 1.3 kg

Dimensions

15.5 x 10.5 x 3.75 in / 47 x 27 x 10 cm

Material

CORDURA 700-denier

Back system

Detachable padded back system (TT)

Colors

Black, Olive, Coyote, Multicam

Who This Is For and Isn't

The Assault Pack 12 suits military personnel, law enforcement officers, and serious tactical users who need a compact, modular day pack that integrates with a plate carrier or chest rig system. It is well matched to users who carry a helmet as part of their kit and want the option to add armor plate storage to a small-footprint pack.

This pack is a tactical carrier with no ballistic rating and provides no ballistic protection. The internal plate slots hold armor plates sourced separately; the pack itself is not a protective product. At 12 liters, it is not suited as a primary large-volume or multi-day load carrier.

Common Questions

What does the 12-liter volume fit in practice?

The Tasmanian Tiger Assault Pack 12's 12-liter main capacity is sized for a day's worth of mission-essential gear across its two compartments. It is designed as a compact low-profile pack rather than a high-volume hauler, so it works best when paired with a chest rig or plate carrier that handles additional load.

Does the pack include a hydration bladder?

The Assault Pack 12 is hydration compatible, meaning it is designed to accept a hydration bladder, but no bladder is included.
