Producing 1,200 lumens and 28,000 candela, it delivers a beam distance of 335 meters. The 12V DC model charges via existing Strion chargers and runs for up to 12 hours on a charge.

Sustained Output for Long-Range Work

The Strion 2020 produces 1,200 lumens and 28,000 candela, translating to a 335-meter beam distance. That reach makes it practical for scanning open ground, parking structures, or building perimeters where a shorter-range light leaves gaps. The candela figure reflects a tightly focused beam rather than broad flood output, which is the right trade-off for distance identification tasks.

Controls That Work Without Looking

The Strion 2020 uses independently functioning head and tail switches alongside a dedicated mode select switch. Having separate controls at each end means a user can operate the light consistently regardless of grip orientation, and the mode select switch keeps output changes deliberate rather than accidental. These are the kinds of interface decisions that matter when the light is drawn under stress.

Fits Into an Existing Strion Setup

The Strion 2020 is compatible with existing Strion chargers, so users already in the Strion ecosystem can add this light without buying new charging hardware. The 12V DC charging input suits vehicle-mounted or in-car charging setups common in patrol and security roles.

Features

Output: 1,200 lumens and 28,000 candela

Beam Distance: 335 meters

Run Time: Up to 12 hours

Switch Layout: Independently functioning head and tail switches with a mode select switch

Charger Compatibility: Works with existing Strion chargers

Charging Input: 12V DC

Specifications

Specification

Value

Brand

Streamlight

Model

Strion 2020

Output

1,200 lumens / 28,000 candela

Beam Distance

335 m

Run Time

Up to 12 hours

Charging Input

12V DC

Weight

1.16 lb

Country of Origin

China

UPC

080926744349

Who This Is For and Isn't

The Strion 2020 suits law enforcement officers, security professionals, and tactical users who need a high-output, long-range rechargeable flashlight for vehicle-based or duty carry use.
