silynx-civilian-headset-adaptor-clarus-ptt
Silynx Civilian Headset Adaptor for CLARUS PTT

The Silynx Civilian Headset Adaptor is a cable that connects standard civilian earbuds to a Silynx CLARUS PTT control unit, enabling covert or semi-covert communications without a dedicated tactical headset. Compatible with CLARUS I, CLARUS II, and FORTIS control boxes. Available in black.

One Cable, Covert Capability

The Civilian Headset Adaptor bridges the gap between off-the-shelf civilian earbuds and the Silynx CLARUS PTT ecosystem. For operators who need to maintain a low-profile appearance, this adaptor allows a standard earbud (one that draws no attention) to function as the audio output for a CLARUS control unit. The result is a communications setup that looks civilian but operates on a tactical radio link.

Part of the Silynx Modular System

Silynx builds its communications ecosystem around three separable components: the headset or earbud, the PTT control box, and the radio cable adaptor. Each connects via Silynx's Quick Disconnect (QDC) on the control-box side and a radio-specific connector on the radio side. The Civilian Headset Adaptor occupies the headset side of that chain, letting a civilian earbud slot into a system otherwise designed for Silynx's own headsets. When a mission profile or budget calls for a lower-profile audio device, this adaptor makes that substitution without replacing the control box or radio cable.

Confirmed Control Box Compatibility

The adaptor is confirmed compatible with three Silynx control boxes: CLARUS I, CLARUS II, and FORTIS. Buyers should verify that their specific control box appears on this list before ordering, as the Silynx ecosystem uses proprietary QDC connectors that are not interchangeable with non-Silynx controllers.

Features

Civilian earbud compatibility: connects standard civilian earbuds to the Silynx CLARUS PTT control unit

Covert profile: designed for covert or semi-covert operational use

Control box compatibility: works with CLARUS I, CLARUS II, and FORTIS control boxes

Color: black only

Specifications

Specification

Detail

SKU

CA0197-00

Color

Black

Compatible Control Boxes

CLARUS I, CLARUS II, FORTIS

Function

Connects civilian earbuds to Silynx CLARUS PTT control unit

Who This Is For and Isn't

This adaptor suits operators, security professionals, or civilians who already own a Silynx CLARUS I, CLARUS II, or FORTIS control box and want to use standard civilian earbuds rather than a dedicated tactical headset, particularly in covert or semi-covert settings where a low-profile audio device is preferred.

This adaptor is not a standalone communications device and does not include a control box, radio cable, or earbuds.
