rothco-tactical-assault-panel-multicam
Rothco Tactical Assault Panel MultiCam

The Rothco Tactical Assault Panel (TAP) is a MOLLE-compatible front panel system for military, law enforcement, and tactical enthusiasts who need organized, fast-access storage for magazines, radios, and field accessories. The MultiCam variant is constructed from 1000 Denier Cordura Nylon. It attaches to a plate carrier or Modular Tactical Vest via included shoulder adapters and split bar side release buckles, or it can be worn as a standalone system with the adjustable, removable harness.

Six Magazine Pockets Within Reach

The Rothco Tactical Assault Panel carries six dedicated magazine pockets across its front face, each secured with hook and loop closures. That closure system lets a user rip open a pocket and reseal it quickly under stress, without fumbling with zippers or snaps. Two additional hook and loop strap pockets sit at either end of the magazine row, sized for a radio, flashlight, GPS device, or spare magazines, keeping secondary items separated from primary ammunition storage so nothing gets buried.

Back Panel Organization for Maps and Accessories

Three large mesh pockets on the back panel of the TAP provide a dedicated layer of organization behind the main front face. The left and center pockets close with hook and loop; the right pocket is zippered. This arrangement suits flat items (maps, compasses, documents, or small accessories) that need to stay flat and accessible without adding bulk to the front. The mesh construction lets a user see contents at a glance without opening the pocket.

Attaches to Existing Gear or Worn Standalone

The TAP ships with two shoulder plate carrier adapters, two split bar side release buckles, and left and right shoulder adapter straps, giving it two distinct mounting modes. Attached to a plate carrier or Modular Tactical Vest, it integrates directly into an existing load-bearing system. Used with the adjustable, removable harness, it functions as a standalone chest panel suited for training, airsoft, paintball, or situations where a full vest is not required. The front panel carries three rows of MOLLE-compatible straps for mounting additional pouches or attachments. The middle panel pocket measures 11.5 inches by 8.75 inches.

Features

Six front magazine pockets: hook and loop closures for secure, fast-access ammunition storage

Two outer strap pockets: sized for radios, GPS devices, flashlights, or additional magazines

Three rear mesh pockets: left and center with hook and loop, right with zipper; suited for maps, compasses, and flat accessories

MOLLE front panel: three rows of MOLLE-compatible straps for modular attachment of additional pouches

Dual mounting modes: attaches to plate carriers and Modular Tactical Vests via included adapters, or worn standalone with the included adjustable harness

1000 Denier Cordura Nylon (MultiCam): rugged construction for demanding field use

Specifications

Specification

Detail

Brand

Rothco

Color / Variant

MultiCam

Material (MultiCam)

1000 Denier Cordura Nylon

Middle Panel Pocket

11.5 in x 8.75 in

Front Magazine Pockets

6, hook and loop closure

Outer Strap Pockets

2, hook and loop

Rear Mesh Pockets

3 (left/center: hook and loop; right: zipper)

MOLLE Rows (front)

3

Included Components

Adjustable/removable harness, two shoulder plate carrier adapters, two split bar side release buckles, left and right shoulder adapter straps

Closures

Hook and loop; straps and buckles

Weight

2 lb

Country of Origin

China

California Prop 65

Contains Di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP)

Who This Is For and Isn't

The Rothco Tactical Assault Panel suits military personnel, law enforcement officers, airsoft and paintball players, and tactical gear enthusiasts who need a modular front panel for magazine and accessory storage.
