The mesh netting connects to both the rain fly roof and the cotton canvas bottom, and a two-way zipper runs the length of the opening so the user can enter and exit quickly without leaving a gap. This all-in-one enclosure keeps insects out through the night without additional setup steps.

Compact Enough to Pack, Sturdy Enough to Use

At 78 inches by 20 inches flat, the Jungle Hammock folds down to fit inside a rucksack or vehicle storage, making it practical for multi-day treks, overlanding, or bug-out bag loadouts. The 220 lb weight limit and packable flat profile make it practical for rucksack carry on multi-day trips or as part of a bug-out bag setup.

The Jungle Hammock is not designed for use without suitable anchor points such as two trees or posts of adequate strength. The 220 lb weight limit means it is not suitable for users above that threshold. The hammock is not a standalone shelter structure and does not replace a tent in environments requiring full ground-level enclosure or wind protection.

Common Questions

What is included with the Rothco Jungle Hammock?

The Rothco Jungle Hammock ships with attached ropes and clews for tree suspension, an integrated mosquito net, and an attached rain fly roof.
