The canvas construction is naturally water-resistant, and brass-plated hardware secures the zipper closure. Available in Black and Olive Drab.

Built to Handle Heavy Loads

The Rothco Jumbo Canvas Cargo Bag is constructed from heavyweight canvas fabric, a material chosen for its resistance to abrasion and tearing under the kind of sustained use that lighter synthetic bags cannot handle. The natural water resistance of the canvas means gear stays dry during transport in light rain or damp conditions without requiring a separate cover.

Carry Comfort Over Distance

The Rothco Jumbo Canvas Cargo Bag includes detachable and fully adjustable shoulder straps made from heavyweight webbing. The ability to detach the straps entirely means the bag can be carried by hand or stowed flat when the straps are not needed, while the adjustability accommodates different body sizes and load weights.

Organized Access on the Move

Two open side pockets on the Rothco Jumbo Canvas Cargo Bag keep frequently used items separated from the main compartment and reachable without opening the primary zipper closure. It will shed light moisture and brief exposure to rain, but it is not rated for submersion or prolonged heavy rain. Sensitive contents should be packed in a liner or dry bag if wet conditions are expected.

Can the shoulder straps be removed?

Yes. The Rothco Jumbo Canvas Cargo Bag comes with detachable and fully adjustable shoulder straps made from heavyweight webbing. The straps can be removed entirely for hand-carry or flat storage, or adjusted to fit different body sizes and load configurations.

What is the hardware made of, and how does the bag close?

The Rothco Jumbo Canvas Cargo Bag uses brass-plated hardware and a zipper closure. The brass plating adds strength and corrosion resistance to the closure hardware, contributing to the bag's durability under repeated use.

Does this bag contain any chemicals subject to California Prop 65 warnings?

Yes.
