Plates are constructed from non-reflective polycarbonate over a mesh-covered EVA foam cushion and a polyester tricot inner lining. One size (Large) is available, sold as a pair with an included nylon gear bag.

Coverage Where It Counts

Rothco Hard Shell Shin Guards are designed to cover four zones in a single piece of equipment: knee, shin, ankle, and foot. That continuous coverage means fewer gaps between separate pads and less time spent fitting multiple components before an operation or training session. The non-reflective polycarbonate shell keeps a low visual signature in field conditions.

Cushioning Built for Extended Wear

Beneath the polycarbonate shell, a durable mesh-covered EVA foam cushion absorbs and distributes impact energy, while a polyester tricot inner lining sits directly against the leg to reduce friction and chafing during prolonged wear. Padded outer ankle protectors add a secondary layer of protection at one of the most exposure-prone joints.

Adjustable Fit and Easy Transport

Three hook-and-loop closures on the back of each guard let the wearer dial in fit independently at different points along the leg.
