rothco-hard-shell-forearm-guards
Rothco Hard Shell Forearm Guards

The Rothco Hard Shell Forearm Guards are a one-size, sold-in-pairs set of impact and abrasion guards covering the forearms and elbows, built for tactical training, outdoor activities, and other high-contact pursuits. The outer shell is non-reflective polycarbonate; the interior is lined with mesh-covered EVA foam cushioning and a polyester tricot lining. Three hook-and-loop closures on the back allow the fit to be adjusted to the wearer's arm. A nylon gear bag is included for storage and transport.

Built to Take Impact

The non-reflective polycarbonate shell on the Rothco Hard Shell Forearm Guards is rigid enough to distribute and deflect impact forces across the guard's surface rather than concentrating them on the forearm or elbow. The non-reflective finish keeps the guards from catching light during low-profile or outdoor use, which matters in field and training environments where glare is a concern.

Comfort Over Extended Wear

Behind the polycarbonate shell, a layer of mesh-covered EVA foam cushioning absorbs residual shock and keeps the hard shell from pressing directly against the arm. The mesh covering promotes airflow across the foam surface, reducing heat buildup during sustained activity. A polyester tricot lining sits against the skin, adding a soft contact layer that helps the guards stay comfortable through longer sessions.

Adjustable Fit and Easy Storage

Three hook-and-loop closures on the back of each guard let the wearer dial in the fit independently at multiple points along the forearm, accommodating different arm sizes within the one-size design and allowing the guards to be tightened or loosened quickly. When not in use, both guards pack into the included nylon gear bag, keeping them together and protecting the shell surface during storage or transport.

Features

Non-reflective polycarbonate shell: rigid outer layer that deflects impacts and abrasions without producing glare

Mesh-covered EVA foam cushioning: absorbs residual shock and promotes airflow against the arm

Polyester tricot lining: soft interior contact layer for comfort against skin

Three hook-and-loop closures: adjustable fit at multiple points along the back of each guard

Sold in pairs: both guards included, one size

Nylon gear bag included: storage and transport bag packed with each pair

Specifications

Specification

Detail

Shell Material

Non-reflective polycarbonate

Lining Material

Polyester tricot

Cushioning

Mesh-covered EVA foam

Closure System

Three hook-and-loop closures (back)

Sizing

One size

Sold As

Pair (two guards)

Included Accessories

Nylon gear bag

Weight (pair)

1.75 lb

Country of Origin

Pakistan

⚠ California Proposition 65 Warning: This product contains Di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP), a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

Who This Is For and Isn't

The Rothco Hard Shell Forearm Guards suit users who need impact and abrasion protection for the forearms and elbows during tactical training, airsoft, paintball, outdoor work, or similar high-contact activities.
