Type Oversized Folding Cot is a portable, aluminum-framed camp cot designed for camping, emergency preparedness, and overnight guest use, with a 300 lb weight capacity and an 80" x 32" x 18.5" sleeping surface. The frame and bed fold down to 8" x 4.5" x 39" for storage and transport, and the cot ships with a polyester carry case. One size is available.

Built to Hold Its Ground

The Rothco Oversized Folding Cot uses heavy-duty aluminum legs and center support bars to deliver a 300 lb weight capacity without relying on a lightweight or flimsy frame. Aluminum keeps the overall weight manageable while still providing the rigidity needed to stay stable on uneven ground or a hard floor. The center support bars distribute load across the length of the cot, reducing sag and keeping the sleeping surface level through the night.

Comfortable Sleeping Surface for Extended Use

The sleeping surface is constructed from 600D polyester with a PVC coating, a material combination that resists moisture and holds its shape under repeated use. At 80" x 32", the cot offers enough length for taller sleepers and enough width to sleep without feeling confined. The polyester fabric allows air to circulate beneath the sleeper, which helps manage heat on warm nights in a tent or an unventilated room.

Packs Down, Sets Up Fast

When folded, the Rothco Oversized Folding Cot measures 8" x 4.5" x 39", a compact footprint that fits in a truck bed, a closet, or alongside other gear in a vehicle. The included polyester carry case keeps the folded cot contained and protects the fabric during transport. The folding design means no tools are needed to set up or break down, making it practical for emergency deployments or last-minute guest situations.

Features

Aluminum frame: Heavy-duty legs and center support bars rated to 300 lbs

600D polyester/PVC-coated sleeping surface: Breathable, moisture-resistant fabric

Open dimensions: 80" x 32" x 18.5", generous length and width for adult sleepers

Folded dimensions: 8" x 4.5" x 39" for compact storage and transport

Included carry case: Polyester case for storage and transport

Specifications

Specification

Detail

Frame Material

Aluminum

Sleeping Surface Material

600D Polyester / PVC Coated

Weight Capacity

300 lbs

Open Dimensions

80" x 32" x 18.5"

Folded Dimensions

8" x 4.5" x 39"

Included Accessories

Polyester carry case

SKU

RTC-4599

Weight

15.15 lbs

Country of Origin

China

Who This Is For and Isn't

The Rothco G.I.
