Adjustable buckles allow the fit to be dialed in for individual build and load requirements. One size fits adult users.

Built for Heavy Loads

The Rothco GI Type Enhanced Shoulder Straps are constructed from 100% 1000 denier nylon, a dense weave that resists abrasion and holds up under sustained weight. Heavier denier counts mean tighter fiber density, which translates to straps that resist fraying at attachment points and along the edges where frame hardware creates friction over time.

Adjustable Fit for Extended Wear

Adjustable buckles let the wearer set strap length to match torso height and load position, which matters most on long carries where a poorly fitted strap shifts the pack's center of gravity and creates pressure points. Dialing in the fit before a mission or trail day reduces shoulder fatigue and keeps the load riding where it was packed.

Direct Replacement or Frame Upgrade

The Rothco GI Type Enhanced Shoulder Straps are designed to attach directly to any standard ALICE frame, making them a straightforward swap for worn or damaged original straps.
