rothco-cross-draw-molle-tactical-vest
Rothco Cross Draw MOLLE Tactical Vest

The Rothco Cross Draw MOLLE Tactical Vest is a heavyweight polyester mesh chest rig designed for field use, tactical operations, and outdoor missions where organized gear access matters. It carries three gear pouches, three magazine pouches, and two document pouches on a fully MOLLE-compatible platform. Available in Black, Olive Drab, Coyote Brown, and MultiCam, in Regular and 2XL/3XL sizes.

Built for Organized Field Carry

The Rothco Cross Draw Tactical Vest distributes eight total pouches across the front panel: three general gear pouches, three magazine pouches, and two document pouches. Having dedicated document pouches alongside magazine storage means maps, permits, or mission paperwork stay flat and accessible without competing for space with ammunition or tools. The cross-draw layout positions pouches for access with either hand, which matters when one arm is occupied or movement is restricted.

MOLLE Platform Lets You Reconfigure

The vest's MOLLE-compatible webbing accepts standard MOLLE pouches and accessories, so the loadout can be adjusted as the mission or activity changes. Swapping or adding pouches does not require tools or permanent modification, which keeps the vest useful across different roles rather than locked into one configuration. The adjustable gear belt at the front adds a second attachment point for additional carry.

Adjustable Fit Across Body Types

Adjustable shoulder straps and a drawstring waist allow the vest to be sized to the wearer rather than relying on a fixed cut. The zip-up front closure provides quick on and off. Regular sizing covers most adult builds; a dedicated 2XL/3XL variant (Black and Coyote Brown) accommodates larger frames without forcing an oversized fit on the standard size. The MultiCam variant (SKU RTC-6384) is constructed from 1000 Denier Cordura Nylon rather than polyester mesh, which affects durability and texture.

Features

MOLLE-compatible webbing: accepts standard MOLLE pouches and accessories for a reconfigurable loadout

Eight integrated pouches: three gear pouches, three magazine pouches, and two document pouches

Adjustable fit system: shoulder straps and drawstring waist fit a range of adult body types

Zip-up front with adjustable gear belt: zipper closure and hook-and-loop belt for quick access and secure closure

MultiCam variant in 1000D Cordura Nylon: heavier-duty construction on SKU RTC-6384 versus polyester mesh on other colorways

Specifications

Specification

Regular (Black, OD, Coyote, MultiCam)

2XL/3XL (Black, Coyote)

Weight

3.6 lb

3.9 lb

Material (standard colorways)

100% Polyester mesh

100% Polyester mesh

Material (MultiCam, RTC-6384)

1000 Denier Cordura Nylon

Not available in this size

Closures

Zipper, Hook and Loop

Zipper, Hook and Loop

MOLLE compatible

Yes

Yes

Gear pouches

3

3

Magazine pouches

3

3

Document pouches

2

2

Colors available

Black, Olive Drab, Coyote Brown, MultiCam

Black, Coyote Brown

Country of origin

China

China

⚠ California Proposition 65 Warning: This product can expose you to Di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP), which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

Who This Is For and Isn't

The Rothco Cross Draw MOLLE Tactical Vest suits airsoft and paintball players, hunters, hikers, and field personnel who need organized, hands-free carry for magazines, tools, and documents.
