rothco-combat-suspenders
Rothco Combat Suspenders

The Rothco Combat Suspenders are elasticized polyester duty suspenders designed to support the added weight of a loaded belt, distributing load across the shoulders to reduce strain during tactical and outdoor use. Available in Black, Olive Drab, and Coyote Brown, they fit one size and attach to belts up to 4 inches wide.

Built to Carry a Loaded Belt

The Rothco Combat Suspenders use 2-inch-wide elasticized polyester straps to spread the weight of belt-mounted gear across both shoulders rather than letting it pull at the hips alone. For anyone running a duty belt loaded with pouches, holsters, or tools, that distribution reduces fatigue during extended wear and keeps the belt sitting level rather than sagging.

Adjustable Fit Without Swapping Sizes

The Combat Suspenders are fully adjustable and sized to fit a wide range of body types without requiring multiple size options. Non-slip adjustment buckles hold the set length under load, so the straps stay where they are set rather than creeping during movement.

Quick Attachment and Removal

The 1-inch-wide nylon side belt loops include a quick-release buckle, allowing the suspenders to be attached to or removed from a belt without threading. Non-slip adjustment buckles let the wearer set the strap length to fit their torso, and the buckles hold that position under load without requiring a separate size selection.

What are the straps made of?

The main straps on the Rothco Combat Suspenders are 2-inch-wide elasticized polyester. The side belt loops are 1-inch nylon. The elasticized construction allows some flex under load while maintaining consistent support across the shoulders.

Do the Rothco Combat Suspenders include any ballistic protection?

No. The Rothco Combat Suspenders are load-support accessories designed to carry the weight of a belt and its attached gear.
