rothco-backwoods-waxed-canvas-log-carrier
Rothco Backwoods Waxed Canvas Log Carrier

The Rothco Backwoods Waxed Canvas Log Carrier is a heavyweight firewood hauler built for campers, homesteaders, and anyone who moves wood regularly between the outdoors and a fireplace or fire pit. Constructed from 100% waxed cotton canvas with leather accents, it measures 38 inches by 28 inches and is available in Olive Drab.

Built to Handle Real Loads

The Rothco Backwoods Log Carrier uses box-X stitching and brass grommets at the stress points where most carriers fail first. The leather-wrapped web handles distribute weight across a wider grip surface, which matters when a full load of split hardwood is pressing down on your hands over a long carry. The center leather trim strap keeps stacked logs from shifting and rolling out during transport.

Waxed Canvas That Works in Any Weather

The 100% waxed cotton canvas shell is naturally water-resistant, so the carrier can be set directly onto snow or wet ground while loading without soaking through. The waxed finish also ages with use, developing a weathered character that holds up to repeated outdoor exposure. The flexible canvas construction folds flat for hanging on a hook or storing under a firewood rack when not in use.

Open-End Design for Flexible Loading

The Backwoods Log Carrier has an open-end construction rather than a closed bag shape, which means it accommodates logs and branches of varying lengths without forcing them to fit a fixed interior. Laying the carrier flat on the ground makes loading a full armful straightforward, and the same open end lets you tip the load cleanly into a wood box or log rack without wrestling with a zipper or flap.

Features

Material: 100% waxed cotton canvas with leather accents

Open-end design: accommodates varying log and branch lengths; lays flat for loading

Center leather trim strap: keeps firewood stacked and secured during carry

Leather-wrapped web handles: reinforced with box-X stitching and brass grommets for heavy loads

Water-resistant construction: waxed canvas shell resists moisture for indoor and outdoor use

Foldable and storable: folds flat to hang on a hook or store under a firewood rack

Specifications

Specification

Detail

Brand

Rothco

Material

100% Waxed Cotton Canvas, Leather Accents

Dimensions

38" x 28"

Weight

1.85 lb

Color

Olive Drab

SKU

RTC-71081-OD

WARNING: This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects and other reproductive harm.

Who This Is For and Isn't

The Rothco Backwoods Log Carrier suits campers, cabin owners, and homesteaders who regularly haul firewood between a woodpile and a fire pit, fireplace, or wood stove.
