ess-crossbow-polar-one-polarized-ballistic-eyeshield
ESS Crossbow Polar ONE Polarized Ballistic Eyeshield

The ESS Crossbow Polar ONE is a polarized ballistic eyeshield rated to ANSI Z87.1-2015, compliant with U.S. Federal OSHA and CE EN 166, and manufactured in the United States. Built on the Crossbow platform, it combines ESS's Tri-Tech Fit frame with distortion-free ESSOPTICS lenses and the DedBolt Lens Lock system for fast, secure lens changes. The Crossbow Polar ONE is available in one configuration.

Universal Fit Without Pressure Points

The Tri-Tech Fit frame is designed to conform to a wide range of face shapes without creating hot spots or pressure points during extended wear. For professionals who keep eyewear on through long shifts or sustained activity, a frame that stays comfortable without constant adjustment matters as much as the lens itself. The Crossbow Polar ONE achieves that fit without requiring size variants or foam inserts.

Optically Precise Polarized Vision

ESSOPTICS lenses are engineered to eliminate distortion across the full field of view: what you see through the lens matches what is actually there, with no warping at the edges and no color shift at the center. The Polar ONE adds polarization to that optical standard, reducing glare from reflective surfaces such as water, pavement, and glass. For outdoor use in bright or high-contrast conditions, polarization reduces eye fatigue over time without sacrificing the clarity the Crossbow platform is built around.

Fast Lens Changes That Hold Under Impact

The DedBolt Lens Lock pivots upward to release the lens quickly, then locks back down to hold it firmly in place. The lock is designed to keep the lens seated under impact, so a lens swapped in the field stays put during use. The mechanism supports tint changes without tools, making the Crossbow Polar ONE practical for environments where light conditions shift across a mission or workday.

Features

Polarized ESSOPTICS Lens: distortion-free optics with polarization to cut glare in bright outdoor conditions

DedBolt Lens Lock: pivots up for easy lens release, clamps down for secure retention under impact

Tri-Tech Fit Frame: universal fit designed for max comfort with zero pressure points

ANSI Z87.1-2015 Rated: meets high-impact ballistic eyewear standard

Multi-Standard Compliance: compliant with U.S. Federal OSHA and CE EN 166

Made in USA: country of origin United States

Specifications

Specification

Detail

Brand

ESS

Model

Crossbow Polar ONE

Lens Type

Polarized

Optical Standard

ESSOPTICS (distortion-free)

Impact Rating

ANSI Z87.1-2015 high-impact

Compliance

U.S. Federal OSHA, ANSI Z87.1-2015, CE EN 166

Frame System

Tri-Tech Fit

Lens Retention

DedBolt Lens Lock

Weight

0.43 lb

Country of Origin

United States

UPC

811533018307

Who This Is For and Isn't

The ESS Crossbow Polar ONE suits military personnel, law enforcement, and outdoor professionals who need ANSI Z87.1-2015-rated eye protection in bright or high-glare conditions.
