An integrated optic cut accommodates most pistol optics without modification. This holster is available in one configuration: right-hand draw, Size 24, Stealth Black finish.

Handcrafted Leather Built to Last

The 1791 Gunleather Optic Ready Paddle Holster is constructed from 100% Certified American Heavy Native Steerhide leather, a dense, durable hide that holds its shape under daily carry. Reinforced stitching runs throughout the holster body, adding structural integrity at the points most likely to see stress over years of use. The result is a holster that retains its fit and form without requiring a break-in period typical of lighter leathers.

Optic Cut for a Clean Draw

The built-in optic cut is sized to clear most common pistol optics, so shooters running a red dot or miniature reflex sight on a full-size pistol do not need to modify the holster or source a separate model. The open-top design removes any retention device from the draw path, allowing a clean, unobstructed presentation from the paddle platform. This makes the holster well suited to range use and duty carry where draw speed matters.

Multi-Fit Design Across Full-Size Platforms

Size 24 is engineered to a multi-fit pattern that spans a broad list of full-size pistols with barrels up to five inches, which seat flush with the holster mouth. The paddle attachment sits over the waistband without requiring a belt, making it straightforward to put on or remove without undressing. The wide compatibility list means one holster can move between firearms in the same size class without requiring a separate purchase for each platform.

Features

Material: 100% Certified American Heavy Native Steerhide leather

Optic Cut: Accommodates most pistol optics without modification

Open-Top Design: Unobstructed draw path for quick presentation

Multi-Fit Pattern: Fits a wide range of full-size pistols; 5-inch barrels seat flush

Reinforced Stitching: Added durability at high-stress seams

Paddle Attachment: Over-the-waistband carry without requiring a belt

Specifications

Specification

Detail

Brand

1791 Gunleather

Model

OR-PDH-24-SBL-R

Size

24

Color / Finish

Stealth Black

Hand

Right

Carry Style

Outside the waistband (OWB), paddle

Retention Style

Open top

Material

100% Certified American Heavy Native Steerhide leather

Max Barrel Length

5 inches (flush fit)

Optic Compatible

Yes, optic cut included

Compatible Firearms (stated)

Arex Rex Alpha, Arex Slovenia, Beretta 92FS, Beretta M9, Canik TP9SF, CZ P10F, CZ Shadow 2, CZ 75, CZ 75B, CZ P09, FN Herstal 9 Longslide, FN Herstal FNS 40 Longslide, FN Herstal FNS 5.7, FN Herstal FNX, Glock 45, HK 45, HK Mark 23, HK P30, HK USP Tactical, HK VP Tactical, HK VP40, HK VP9, Ruger 3810, Ruger 3811, Ruger American, Ruger Security-9, Sig Sauer P220, Sig Sauer P226, Sig Sauer P227, Sig Sauer P320, Sig Sauer P320 Tacops, Sig Sauer SP2022, Springfield XD Mod.2 4", Springfield XDM 3.8", Springfield XDM 5.25", Springfield XDM 4.5", Tanfoglio Full, Taurus PT92-AFD, Taurus TH9, Walther PPQ

Who This Is For and Isn't

This holster suits right-hand-draw shooters who carry a full-size pistol outside the waistband and want a leather OWB option that clears a mounted pistol optic.
